Schneider and SD 30
Republican State Senator Scott Schneider tells Indy Politics he acknowledges that he is in a competitive race in Senate District 30, but he doesn’t think his conservative stances on social issues will hurt him with the voters.
SD 30 encompasses much of north central Indianapolis and into the Fishers area of Hamilton County. Schneider has been a strong ideological conservative and is running against Democrat Tim Delaney.
Polls have indicated that SD 30 is a toss up, however Schneider says he has been talking jobs and economic development and despite his stands on social issues says voters can appreciate someone of principle, even though they may not agree with him.
