A “Fund Razor” with Jim Merritt

For the last 30 days Republican State Senator Jim Merritt of Indianapolis has been growing a beard in an effort raise money and awareness regarding the issue of teens and making safe life choices. On Monday, he goes under the razor at Red’s Barber Shop in downtown Indianapolis.
Merritt has been promoting the state’s new Lifeline law which gives teens immunity from being charged with possession if another teen has been drinking and becomes unconscious.
Carmel resident Dawn Findblom, who lost her 18-year old son Brett who died from alcohol poisoning because no one called for medical attention, has helping Merritt raise awareness.
The Senator has been pushing awareness for the dangers of bath salts as well.
