Subsidized Housing
This is a link to an analysis of the properties in Marion County that receive the Homestead Property Tax Credit. The more valuable the home, the bigger the credit. Ironically, the tax credit is subsidized by the County Option Income tax so a person who is working part-time and pays COIT is subsidizing the person with the million dollar home.
