Political Potpourri with Indiana Politicos

Indy Politics woke up today with lots of political news in our e-mailbox.  Here’s what the candidates and campaigns are talking about…

Richard Mourdock is touting raising $3 million in the last quarter and having having $1.3 million in cash on hand. 

Joe Donnelly’s campaign says they’ve raised more than $1.5 million from small donors and have about $936,000 on hand.

Democratic Gubernatorial candidate John Gregg is unveiling a new TV Ad attacking Mike Pence on his Tea party ties.   Pence is in Hendricks County today, while his running mate Sue Ellspermann is campaigning in Vigo County.

9th District Congressman Todd Young has a new ad going after Obamacare.

4th District Congressman Todd Rokita says his campaign raised more than $371,000; $208,000 for his re-election, $113,000 for his leadership PAC.

Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller is reporting raising $350,000 in the last quarter.  There are more supplemental reports expected.  He will likely raise under $1 million for the entire year.

In HD 97, Democrat Justin Moed is touting support from several education groups, Stand for Children, Indiana Democrats for Education Reform and the Indiana State Teachers Association.  Meanwhile, his opponent AJ Feeney-Ruiz is highlighting and Indy Star story touting his race as one to watch.

The Indianapolis City-County Council is voting tonight on the city budget.  Expect a big fight on this one.
