Council Passes $1 Billion Budget; Mayoral Veto Looms

The Indianapolis Star reports tonight the Indianapolis City-County Council has passed a $1 billion budget for the city, in part by taking money from the Capital Improvement Board and dipping into the Rebuild Indy reserve fund.  Thus, making the possibility of a veto by Mayor Greg Ballard very likely.
