Bennett v. Ritz
The two candidates for Superintendent of Public Instruction met Friday for their first and only head-to-head debate. Incumbent Republican Dr. Tony Bennett and Democratic challenger Glenda Ritz debated on Northeast Indiana Public Radio. The topics in the hour-long debate included vouchers, testing, accountability and expansion of charter schools. The debate also gave the two candidates the opportunity to question each other.
